APRIL 2026, SALISBURY, MD – Henry Hanna, CCIM, SIOR, Senior Advisor and leader of The Hanna Team with SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate, was awarded the Perdue School Executive Advisory Council Leadership Award by the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University. 
The Perdue Executive Advisory Council Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service. Each recipient’s name is permanently displayed in Perdue Hall, and honorees receive a commemorative award in recognition of their contributions.
For more than 55 years, Hanna has been a driving force in both commercial real estate and community leadership across the Lower Eastern Shore. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as a trusted Advisor, known for his deep expertise in industrial real estate, strategic insight, and unwavering integrity.
Henry’s professional journey reflects the evolution of the commercial real estate industry itself, spanning from early residential and condominium sales to complex commercial transactions. His specialization in industrial properties and long-standing commitment to client success have made a lasting impact on the regional market.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Hanna’s dedication to Salisbury University has been both extensive and transformative. He served on the SU Foundation Board of Directors for 20 years, including time as chair, and contributed as a member of the Perdue School Advisory Board. Through his leadership, he played a key role in securing a $1,600,000 endowment as part of the Chesapeake Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s Perdue-Kresge Challenge. In 2012, he chaired the University’s $30,000,000 Capital Campaign and helped establish and lead the SU Real Estate Foundation.
Henry and his wife, Dara, further demonstrated their commitment to education and community through the establishment of the Henry H. “Buddy” Hanna Memorial Award. This scholarship fund honors his father’s legacy while providing Salisbury University students with hands-on internship opportunities in Annapolis, working alongside delegates in the Maryland General Assembly.
In addition to his contributions to higher education, Hanna has served on numerous local boards, including the Bank of Delmarva, Peninsula Bank, and Salisbury Wicomico Economic Development, further reinforcing his long-standing commitment to the region’s growth and prosperity.
